HELLO from down here in Texas!! :)

As you can imagine, we're all very familiar with this beer down here, and in fact it's a staple in just about every bar here.

That being said, I'm glad you enjoyed something from one of breweries here, BUT please don't think that's how we really make beer down here ;)

I'm not a huge fan of it, and I would go as far as saying that most beer lovers aren't a big fan of it either. Not from a snobbish point of view, but simply that's it's pretty average and there really isn't all that much to it a Shiner honestly.

We have some GREAT breweries down here in Texas that are far and away great beers and A-, A+ beers. You won't be able to get them up in NY, but if you can get ahold of anything from Southern Star, Saint Arnold, or Real Ale Brewery...DO SO! :)

Once you taste those, you'll see what I mean by not giving Shiner too much credit ;)

I know this is not Texas best beer, but I still appreciate this. Can't wait to taste some of the stuff you mentioned.
