Wolavers Brown Ale

Wolaver's Brown Ale poured a semi-clear, light brown color with a thick, off-white head. The aroma was mostly malt. The body had a light, creamy mouthfeel with thin malts, some spices, and a light amount of dryness underneath. The finish is short with a little bit of dryness. The beer leaves a ton of lace on the glass. This is a lighter brown, very smooth and easy drinking but with a nice enough body to enjoy.
Editor's Note: When tasting the beer there was something in the aroma and body that I could just not put my finger on and it was really bothering me. A quick look at the Wolaver's website and I see that black currant is one of the ingredients. Exactly what I was missing.
