Dogfish Head Hellhound On My Ale

Hellhound poured a semi-cloudy, orange amber color with a thumb width, off white head.  The nose is huge, with plenty of malts and hops clashing enough where it is tough to pull out specific aromas.  The body has a thick malt base, with rye like qualities, and a sharp hop bite on the edges.  The finish is a bit boozy, and has a bone-dry bitter finish.  The glass was coated with hanging lace.

Overall, a well brewed, above average beer that hop heads will enjoy.  Plenty of flavor here, maybe to complex for it's own good.  Dogfish beers are incredibly refined and this has a little edge to it which is either a good or bad thing depending on the drinker.
