Williamsburg Alewerks Washington's Porter

Washington's Porter poured a dark brown, blackish color with a paper thin, light tan head. The aroma is filled with dark malt and chocolate notes. The body is smooth, plenty of dark malt, with a coffee, and a touch of sweetness. It starts to thin out a little on the back end before a lingering dry finish that has a touch of bitterness.

Overall, this was a porter that I enjoyed a lot. It is simple, made to style, and well balanced. This is a great breakfast beer.
