Mojo Risin poured a clear, copper color with a two-fingered width, white head. The aroma is pungent, with lots of piney, resiney hops and a fair amount of malt. The body is think, smooth and with a nice malt backbone and a little sweetness. The finish is very dry, and offers up a blast of sharp hops. The glass was coated with hanging lace.
Overall, this is a very good Double IPA. It is balanced and meshes well together. It has a huge flavor profile without being overbearing. This is well worth a try.

I'm going to be picking up a couple bottles of this stuff when I'm up in Boulder for the beer bloggers conference in November. I've heard a lot about this particular beer and the brewery, and being a lover of double IPA's I just have to have some. No questions asked. :)
